THE BAND OFFICERS

BAND PRESIDENT

The Band President is the figurehead of the entire band body. The Band President should be a trustworthy strong individual with dedication to band, motivated by becoming the best. The Band President should be in constant contact with Mr. Wilkas with band concerns, and help with the resolutions of arising band issues.

Creativity is important to the Band President, as it will be a process to resolve, create or initiate programs, activities or events that will help benefit the band.

The Band President should be a good manager of other people, and exhibit good social abilities. They will be responsible for the duties of all of the other officers. The President, with the Vice President, can organize any eighth grade band members to assist with the initiation and completion of any tasks that need to be undertaken.

The Band President MUST have email access.
